Schedule
Classes begin Saturday, October 10, 2026. Weekly sessions are held every Saturday 9 AM–12 PM and every Wednesday 5–8 PM for a total of 12 weeks.
Location
Education Center Boardroom, 145 King of Prussia Rd, Radnor, PA 19087. Our clinical training center is located in the heart of the Philadelphia area.
Credential
Our curriculum is built exclusively around the HSPA CRCST certification exam. Students are prepared for the industry-standard CRCST certification from HSPA.

Joseph Lister introduces antiseptic surgery, using carbolic acid to clean instruments and wounds, drastically reducing post-surgical infections.
1879
Charles Chamberland, working with Louis Pasteur, invents the pressurized steam sterilizer, the ancestor of today's autoclave.
Mid-1900s
Hospitals centralize instrument cleaning and sterilization into dedicated 'central supply' departments, streamlining hospital logistics.
1950s–60s
Dr. Earle Spaulding creates the Spaulding Classification (critical, semi-critical, non-critical), still used today to define sterilization requirements.
1958
The association now known as HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM) is founded, offering the CRCST, CIS, CHL, and CER certifications.
Today
Sterile processing is a certified, standards-driven profession guided by AAMI standards, supporting every surgery.
Did You Know?
No surgery can start without sterile instruments. A single surgical tray can contain dozens to hundreds of instruments. Steam sterilizers commonly run at 250°F to 270°F. Sterile processing techs are often called 'the heart of the hospital'.
